Menu Structure (in Shopify Admin)
Talkom follows Shopify’s standard integration flow. Once you have installed the application, you will find the following menus on the Talkom App page in your Shopify Admin:
Home (Talkom AI)
The Home menu provides a step-by-step guide for configuring Talkom AI. By following these steps, you can activate the AI Assistant within just a few minutes.
On this page, you’ll also find Embed Settings, where you can:
Customize the look and feel of the AI Shopping interface.
Edit the texts shown to users.
Define the entry points of the AI within the shopping journey. Read more about it here.
AI Shopping History
Here you can view the complete history of customer conversations with the AI Shopping Assistant.
On the right side, you’ll also find product interaction analytics, including:
How many times products were shown.
How often they were clicked.
How many times they were added to the cart.

Personality
This section allows you to customize how your AI Assistant communicates.
Choose between a friendly, informal style or a professional, precise tone.
Control how the AI recommends products and handles support inquiries.
Extend or edit the default prompt so the AI sounds like a natural extension of your brand.

AI Knowledge
The AI Knowledge menu is the “brain” of your assistant. It automatically learns from your products and the most important information in your store, such as:
Privacy Policy
Contact Information
Refund Policy
Shipping Policy
And more.
If your plan includes it, you can also upload documents (PDF) for the AI to learn from. This enables the AI to respond to customers based on your uploaded files.

AI Actions
In this section, you can enable smart actions for your AI Assistant. For example:
If a customer asks about their order, the AI can track or cancel it.
When canceling, it can automatically trigger a restock and refund (based on your settings).
If the customer requests human support (or the AI decides escalation is needed), it can send an email to your support team to take over.

Here you’ll find details about your current plan, along with high-level usage analytics of the AI Shopping Assistant.
From this menu, you can:
Review your billing period.
Upgrade or downgrade your plan.

Home (Talkom AI)
The Home menu is your main control center for activating, customizing, and monitoring the Talkom AI Shopping Assistant. From here, you can enable different components with one click, adjust their settings, and review performance metrics.
AI Components
You can activate and manage several AI-powered features directly from this page:
Activate AI Shopping
Enable a chat bubble (bottom-right by default) that opens the AI Shopping Assistant. You can customize the logo, colors, and texts in the App Embed settings.
Ask About Product
Adds an “Ask AI about this product” button to your product pages. When clicked, it opens the AI Shopping Assistant with the product context preloaded, allowing customers to ask specific questions.
Open from Header Banner
Adds a clickable banner below your store’s header that opens the AI Shopping Assistant. You can edit the banner text and animation in the App Embed settings.
AI Banner on Collection
Displays a customizable banner on collection pages to draw attention to the AI Shopping Assistant and encourage interaction.
AI Banner on Search
Displays a customizable banner on search result pages, highlighting the AI Shopping Assistant and engaging customers directly during product discovery.
Each feature includes a Customize button that takes you to the App Embed settings for detailed configuration.

Monthly Stats
At the bottom of the Home page, you’ll find usage analytics showing how customers interact with the AI:
Cart Count → Number of times products were added to the cart via AI interactions.
Click Count → Number of times products shown by the AI were clicked.
Impression Count → Number of times products were displayed in AI recommendations.
These stats also show the rate of change compared to previous periods, helping you measure the AI’s impact on engagement and sales.
